Stakeholder Longlist, Prioritization, and Event Aim
The first step in the Event Design Process is to identify your stakeholders and prioritize them by power and interest, and figure out who to satisfy, inform, delight, and involve in the event process. Finally, you have to decide which main stakeholders to design for as well as the overarching aim of the event. Our team is in charge of hosting a virtual concert community event at the Stockton Atlantic City Campus. Our group identified 36 stakeholders: including virtual attendees, the media, artists, and the local community. Other critical stakeholders that help the event run are sound engineers, photographers, setup/clean up crew, the marketing and advertising team, permit officials, and the facilities team. Stakeholders that have a vested interest in the community event at Stockton are the President and Dean, Professors, students, college and business partners, and faculty. Our event aim is to create a fun, engaging, and safe concert experience that connects students, faculty members, and business partners together and makes Stockton University known.
