Stakeholder Longlist, Prioritization, and Event Aim
In order to create the best (Virtual) Industry Seminar possible, we brainstormed some of the most crucial stakeholders for such an event. Surprisingly, there were many more than expected. Most importantly, the primary audience, and therefore the biggest stakeholder, is the Hospitality and Business Students that we are trying to inform and train for career opportunities. In order to achieve this, more important stakeholders come to light, for example: Professors, Guest Speakers, Industry Professionals, Business Owners, and General Managers. Once all of these stakeholders are organized, we have other hills to climb. We will need an IT department, Zoom Facilitators to help run the virtual event, local government and AC Town Hall members to grant us permission to hold the event, Stockton faculty and news outlets to spread the word, and last but not least, local residents to be involved to generate buzz. If we stick to our event aim, which is to educate incoming professionals about the gaps in the hospitality industry & to develop new skills they can bring to the workplace, all of the stakeholders will easily be satisfied with the event.
