Stakeholder Longlist, Prioritization, and Event Aim
The first step in the Event Design process is to identify stakeholders, prioritize stakeholders based on their interest/power, identify the event aim, and ultimately identify 2-3 stakeholders. Our group identified over 50 stakeholders including prospective students (high school juniors/seniors, community college transfers/4 year university transfers, accepted but undecided students, accepted students, student athletes, first generation, and veteran). We also identified other critical stakeholders such as the student’s parents, guardians and relatives. There are stakeholders that have a vested interest in the recruitment event at Stockton such as the board of directors, the president, the Dean, college partners, offices at the university (bursar, financial aid, recruitment, event team, faculty, etc). Our event aim is to showcase HTMS's distinguished program curriculum (certifications, industry partners, faculty, staff) to increase student enrollment for all student types.
